This page will list informal gatherings of club members. Members that wish to post an
informal trail ride, a pre-ride, or a rally that they would like to be the coordinator may send
the information in by email to sgiamarvo@msn.com

These gatherings will not be considered a club function, but all club members are welcome
to take part. If a club member is planning to be trail riding and would like other members to
join in, please post the details.

One rule is that these informal gatherings may not interfere  with a club function. The club is
not responsible in any way for these events.
Parker Participants:  In visiting with John Richey last night, we decided that we are going to stay overnight at Parker
on Saturday evening rather than return to Surprise after the Desert Bar Function.  This decision was based on
multiple factors but predominately in order to have more fun  and not have to worry about driving back to Surprise
Saturday evening.

I checked with the Blue Water Casino and they have 7 Double Queen Rooms left at a rate of $179.95 before taxes
and resort fees.

I have made a reservation at the Hampton Inn in Parker which is very nice for $151 including taxes and fees using
my triple AAA card which they said they would honor for those of you who might wish to stay there even if you don’t
have AAA.  This is a pet friendly hotel. They stated this morning that due to spring break, they are busy and only
had a few rooms remaining so if you decide you would like to stay Saturday night, I would encourage you to make
your reservation ASAP.

There are probably other less expensive options than the two I have listed but I did not pursue trying to locate them
not knowing what interest level there might be.

I plan on leading a ride in the Parker area on Sunday morning starting at 10 AM  called the Bill Williams Overlook.  It
is rated a 2.5 by FMCA.  It takes 2.5-4 hours to complete the ride.  I led this ride in February and it is very scenic and
is not difficult.  Stock Jeeps will have no problem with this trail.  The trail overlooks the Parker Area and the Colorado
River in multiple places from an elevated Plateau.  This is a very nice ride and I would encourage you to consider
staying over Saturday night and making the ride on Sunday Morning.

If there is interest to stay Saturday night, I will try to find a place for us to assemble Saturday day evening and
perhaps have dinner together.

If you have any interest in staying Saturday evening with us and the Richey’s, please email me at
or call me on my cell at 316-304-3849.
